As 2017 is rapidly drawing to a close I thought I’d try and get in one last post for the year. We’ve had an unusually snowy December which has been great for photography – even if it has meant slipping and sliding around and having to blast the central heating a bit more than usual to ward off the chill. This image was captured on the edge of Erringden Moor and shows the route towards Haven Lane.

Incidentally this year I’ve been working on a bit of a mini-project photographing stiles and gates which I’ll try and get put together into a post next year. Finally let me wish you happy holidays and I hope you’ll join me in raising a glass to another year of photographic discovery.

That’s both bizarre and brilliant.
